Steve’s unique style highlights dappled colors and the play of light and shadow.  In viewing his work, you sense both thoughtfulness and real visceral energy.

He is a longtime Bisbee resident and has worked for 20 years in the Forest Service, which has inspired his landscapes rendered in watercolors or oils.

Besides being a painter for as long as he can remember, Steve is also a printmaker, published book illustrator, playwright, and cartoonist.
