Paul Bovée started painting regularly once he moved to Bisbee, Arizona in 1980. Since retiring from teaching in 2006, he has been focusing on his art full-time and is inspired by the light and color of southeastern Arizona.

Paul cites influences including Cezanne, Van Gogh, Hopper and Monet, working primarily in oils and watercolors.
